01 / BELOW THE SURFACE
Big numbers mode puts depth, time and no-decompression limit (NDL) on a simplified screen. Customise available fields for your dive mode and move between screens with the buttons. The three-axis compass helps you follow a heading underwater.
02 / FREEDIVING
Choose depth and interval alerts with audible and vibration cues. The variometer adds ascent or descent-rate alerts. Select settings appropriate to your training and activity; available alerts depend on the mode.
Single-Gas and Multi-Gas modes support nitrox and trimix, alongside CCR and Gauge. Apnea, Apnea Hunt and Pool Apnea serve freediving, with static and dynamic pool activities. Advanced modes require the relevant training; their presence does not qualify a diver to use them.
03 / BACK ON THE SURFACE
In Garmin Dive, review freedive descent and ascent rates and hang time, then add photos, conditions and notes. Surface GPS records entry and exit locations when a satellite signal is available above water. GPS does not track you underwater.
04 / THE REST OF YOUR WEEK
Record runs, rides, swims and strength sessions; review heart rate, sleep and recovery in Garmin Connect. Wellness estimates are not medical diagnoses. Notifications need a compatible paired phone. Garmin Pay depends on participating banks and regions.

Calculations cannot eliminate decompression illness or oxygen toxicity.
